Educators act ethically and maintain the integrity, credibility and reputation of the profession.
Throughout my practicum Standard 2 has been an essential standard to meet. This standard is about the professional commitment that you take on as an educator. This commitment is not a 9 to 5 commitment but a life long commitment to your students, their families, your school, school district, and community. This commitment means that as an educator you will be a dedicate yourself to be a role model for your students and the community. This commitment means that you will treat students, their families, and colleagues with respect. This commitment means that as an educator you recognize that you are a life-long learner and constantly strive to better your teaching practices. As an educator you will respect the privacy of your students and their families. This is a lifelong commitment that teachers should strive for each year.
